First-Time Home Buyer Tax Credit Chart & Government Links

I've received lots of questions recently about the First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit from friends and clients.  I wanted to have an easy way to look at the basic information and I found this chart from the National Association of Realtors.  It compares the tax credit for home purchases from January 2009 through November 2009 with those offered for purchases during most of 2008.

Tiffany - I hope that first time home buyers understand what this means in term of free money. It really is free, and why anyone wouldn't take advantage of it escapes me.
